FITVOW counts your reps with your iPhone's camera, on your iPhone. No video, photos or body-pose data ever leave your device. This policy explains what we do collect, why, and the choices you have.

The short version

Who we are

FITVOW ("FITVOW", "we", "us") makes the FITVOW iPhone app and this website. Our mailing address is 580 The East Mall, Etobicoke, ON M9B 4A7, Canada. If you have a question about this policy or your data, email support@fitvow.app.

What we collect

Your account

Your workouts

Purchases

Payments are made through Apple's App Store. Apple handles your payment details; we never see your card. We receive the transaction details we need to give you what you bought, such as the product, the transaction identifier, the date and the price tier.

Notifications and app integrity

App analytics

We use PostHog and Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the app is used and to fix problems, for example which screens are opened and where people get stuck. These services receive usage events, device and app information and a pseudonymous identifier. They never receive camera frames, pose data, sign-in tokens or purchase receipts.

Support

If you email us we keep the conversation so we can help you.

This website

This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) for security and reliability.

How we use your data

Where the law requires a legal basis (for example in the EU, UK or Canada), we rely on performing our contract with you, our legitimate interest in running a fair and secure service, your consent where we ask for it (such as notifications), and our legal obligations.

What is public

Before you qualify your profile is private. After you pass an evaluation, other people can see your username, country, profile photo (if you add one), qualifications by move and level, verified days, best streak, lifetime totals per move, badges and rank.

Missed days, failed or reset attempts, flex and health days, injury exits and Discipline Points always stay private.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with:

Your data is stored and processed in the United States. Where we transfer data across borders we use the safeguards the law requires.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account, we erase your profile, results and history from our systems and analytics tools within 24 hours. We keep a de-identified record of purchases where tax and accounting law requires it. Encrypted backups expire on their normal schedule, within 35 days.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, delete or move your data, to object to or restrict some processing, and to withdraw consent. To use these rights, email support@fitvow.app. We will answer within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in California law.

Adults only

FITVOW is only for people aged 18 or older. If we learn that someone under 18 has created an account, we delete it.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Access is limited to the people and systems that need it, and secrets are kept in a managed secrets store. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will tell you if a breach affects you, as the law requires.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change is significant we will also tell you in the app before it takes effect.
